How this works: your PDF's pages are rendered right here in your browser so you can see exactly where you're placing things. Add text, a signature, a shape, or a whiteout box, drag each item into position, and resize using the small handle - then Download flattens everything onto the real PDF page and saves it, all without a single network request carrying your document.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Unlike most online PDF editors, everything here - rendering the pages, placing your text and signature, and producing the final file - happens locally in your browser. Your document never leaves your device.
Yes. Upload a JPG or PNG - a photo taken with your phone, or a scan - and it's automatically turned into a single-page document you can fill exactly like a PDF, with the same text, signature, whiteout, and shape tools. This works for any form you found anywhere, not just one downloaded from this site, so you can skip typing it up yourself entirely.
This tool doesn't detect a PDF's built-in form fields - it lets you place new text and a signature anywhere on the page, which works for both fillable and non-fillable (scanned/flattened) PDFs alike. Position your text box over the field you want to fill.
Not directly - this tool adds new elements on top of the page rather than modifying what's already printed there. If you need to cover something up first, use the Whiteout tool to draw an opaque box over it, then add your replacement text on top.
It's matched, not identical. Most PDFs embed only the exact glyphs they use rather than a reusable font file, so this tool can't extract and reuse the original font directly. Instead, it looks at your document and pre-selects the closest of six standard fonts (serif, sans-serif, or monospace) - you can change it per text box from the font dropdown that appears while editing.
Whiteout draws an opaque white box to cover something on the page; Blackout does the same in black. Important - these visually cover content, they don't remove it. The original text/image underneath is still present in the PDF's own data, just hidden beneath the box, so don't rely on Blackout alone to make sensitive information (like a full Aadhaar number) unrecoverable to someone editing the file directly. Highlight adds a semi-transparent yellow box over an area - useful for marking a specific answer or section. Shapes adds an outlined rectangle, circle, or line - useful for marking a checkbox or circling an answer. Draw lets you sketch freehand directly on the page, for a quick handwritten note or initial. All of these work by click-and-drag, and can be moved, resized, or deleted afterward like any other item.
Tap Sign in the toolbar, then either draw it with your mouse or finger, or upload a photo of your signature. For an uploaded photo, leave "Remove background" checked and the paper it was written on is automatically made transparent, so only the ink shows on the page. Drag it into place and resize using the corner handle, the same as any other item.
