SarkariKagaz.pro was born out of a frustration that millions of Indian students know all too well — spending hours preparing a government exam application, only to have it rejected at the very last step because a photo was 3 KB over the limit, or the dimensions were off by a few pixels.
We are a small independent team based in Pune, Maharashtra. The idea came to us while helping a friend reapply for the SSC CGL form after it was rejected twice — not because of eligibility, not because of marks — but because the photo background was slightly off-white instead of pure white, and the portal's automated validator flagged it.
That felt absurd. The technology to fix this is simple. The information about exact specs is public. So why were lakhs of students either paying cybercafe operators to "fix" their photos, or downloading sketchy APKs that uploaded their personal photos to unknown servers?
SarkariKagaz.pro provides a specialised photo and signature resizing toolkit built specifically for Indian government examination portals. Unlike generic image compressor tools, every feature we build is designed around one specific problem: getting your exam application accepted on the first attempt.
Our tool automatically loads the exact photo and signature specifications for each exam — dimensions, file size limits, aspect ratio, DPI, background colour requirements — so you don't have to hunt through 40-page PDF notifications to find a single table of requirements.
When you upload a passport photo to any website, you are placing significant trust in that service. Government exam photos are used for identity verification — they are sensitive personal data.
We made a deliberate architectural decision when building SarkariKagaz.pro: all image processing runs entirely in JavaScript inside your own browser. Your photo is loaded into your browser's memory, processed, and made available for download — all without a single network request carrying image data. Even we cannot see the photos processed on our platform. This is not a marketing claim; it is how the code works, and anyone with technical knowledge can verify it by monitoring network traffic while using the tool.
We are funded entirely by non-intrusive Google AdSense advertisements. We do not charge for the tool, do not require account registration, and do not monetise user data in any form.
