How to Download Your UPSC CSE Admit Card
UPSC releases a separate e-Admit Card for each stage of the Civil Services Examination — Preliminary, Mains, and (for shortlisted candidates) the Personality Test/Interview. Since UPSC exams run through the shared OTPR system, the download process is consistent across CDS, NDA, and CSE:
- Go to the official website, upsc.gov.in
- Look for the "e-Admit Card" or "Examination" link on the homepage
- Select the correct exam and stage (Prelims, Mains, or Interview)
- Log in using your OTPR registration ID and password
- Download the PDF and save at least two copies — one on your phone, one printed
- Check your name, photo, exam centre, date, and reporting time as soon as you download it — not the night before

If your photo looks blurry, pixelated, or doesn't match your OTPR profile, this usually traces back to a photo that didn't meet the exact specification when it was uploaded. Contact the UPSC facilitation counter or helpline immediately — do not wait until exam day.
Exam centre or personal detail error
Do not try to correct these yourself or edit the PDF. Reach out to UPSC through the official facilitation counter, published helpline number, or grievance channel as soon as you notice the error, well before your exam date.
Admit card not visible yet
Admit cards are typically released a short window before each exam stage, and timing varies by stage and cycle. If it isn't available yet, keep checking upsc.gov.in directly — there is no way to "check status" faster through a third party.

UPSC publishes results for Prelims, Mains, and the final list as PDFs of roll numbers on upsc.gov.in. Unlike some other exams, most UPSC stages don't offer a personalised login-based result checker — you check your roll number against the published PDF list directly.
